After countless drive bys, creative dreaming and plenty determination Lucky Dogs has become a reality. Lucky Dogs is a gourmet hot dog restaurant that features the famous 100% all beef Nathan’s Hotdogs. Lucky Dogs is a place where great food is served, friends and families gather on the patio and pets are welcome.

Lucky Dogs is located on the corner of 2nd and Beltrami in downtown Bemidji. The property once belonged to the Wright family, so the property is often referred to as “Wright’s Corner.” Roy Wright bought the property in 1957 and built the current building in 1961 where he operated Wright’s Service Station. Roy’s sons inherited the property with Gordy Wright eventually operating the gas station until 2002. Gordy’s daughter Jean Wright Clark took over the gas station and operated the station for a few years. The property was vacant for nearly thirteen years. With much interest in the property Wright Clark decided it was time to sell and allow a new venture to emerge at 201 Beltrami Ave.
